Uist Community Nursing Team Manager

Job Summary
NHS Scotland is seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to lead the Uist Community Nursing Team as a Senior Charge Nurse. The successful candidate will provide clinical, professional leadership, and operational management to a team of District Nurses, Staff Nurses, and Healthcare Assistants.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall clinical and professional leadership to the Uist Community Nursing Team
- Operate and manage the team to deliver effective and appropriate care to patients in their geographical area
- Work closely with the wider nursing and multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care
- Report to the Lead Community Nurse to ensure nursing services are delivered effectively and efficiently
- Register with the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme)
Requirements
- Significant experience in community nursing and leadership roles
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills
- Sound knowledge and evidence of effective individual staff management and good team leading skills
- Ability to work closely with the wider nursing and multidisciplinary team
