Job Title: CIAG Adviser

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CIAG Adviser to join our team at Career Connect. As a CIAG Adviser, you will play a vital role in supporting offenders in prison to enhance their employment and learning opportunities.

About the Role:

The CIAG Adviser will work with individuals in custody to engage them in learning, training, and employment opportunities within the prison and on release. This will involve one-to-one and group work, as well as collaboration with partner organizations to ensure the best results for our participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide career information, advice, and guidance to offenders in prison
  • Support individuals to engage in learning, training, and employment opportunities
  • Work with partner organizations to ensure effective delivery of services
  • Record accurate information on participant plans and progress
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working with offenders or other disadvantaged groups
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work proactively and effectively in a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to record accurate information
