Your new company, a not-for-profit organisation in the UK, is currently looking for a part-time Financial Administrator on an ongoing basis to join the finance function.

  • Manage the petty cash and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Process timesheets and maintain accurate payroll records.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Set up and process supplier payment runs and send remittances in a timely manner.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations to ensure timely payment.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end procedures, including financial reporting and analysis.
  • Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records and identify any discrepancies.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Good working knowledge of accounting software, such as Sage 50cloud Accounts.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including data analysis and financial modeling.
  • High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
