About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Adult Education Budget (AEB) Success Coach to join our small, supportive, and friendly team. As an AEB Success Coach, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of education and making a positive impact on learners' lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and advise learners to establish a supportive and trusting relationship, providing ongoing guidance and support to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.
  • Assist learners in creating personalized academic plans based on their goals and program requirements, monitoring their progress and providing timely intervention or support as needed.
  • Provide information support services to learners, including counseling or financial aid through Life & Progress, and assist them in navigating online learning platforms and educational technology.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that acknowledges and addresses learners' personal and emotional needs, acting as a resource for learners experiencing personal challenges or difficulties.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of interactions with learners, including progress reports and action plans, and collect and analyze data on learner success metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in academic advising, coaching, mentoring, or student support roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with learners.
  • Knowledge of educational systems, programs, and resources.
  • Familiarity with online learning platforms, educational technology, and student information systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, administrators, and other support staff.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in supporting learners' success.
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £23,000 - £26,000 per year.
  • 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, with an additional day's holiday for each year's service up to 25 days.
