About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team at Kings Camps. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy, fun, and inclusive sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years.

As a Sports Coach, you will work closely with our Camp Manager and a team of like-minded individuals to create a safe and engaging environment for our young participants. Your primary focus will be on designing and delivering sports programs that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of our campers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging sports sessions for children aged 5-17 years
  • Work closely with the Camp Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the camp
  • Supervise children during lunch breaks, swimming sessions, and other activities
  • Ensure the safe use of equipment and promptly record any incidents
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • At least 6 months' experience working with children from 5-17 years
  • At least 3 months' experience coaching a sport or active games
  • Vibrant, resilient, and team-oriented personality
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Level 2 or higher qualification in Primary or Secondary Teaching, Sports Coaching, or Physical Education
  • Paediatric First Aid certification (training opportunities available)
