**Job Title:** SEN Teaching and Learning Associate

**Job Type:** Temporary (with potential for permanence)

**Location:** Dorset

**Salary:** **£30,000 - £40,000 per annum**, depending on experience

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a SEN Teaching and Learning Associate. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children or adults with SEN needs and/or disabilities SEND, especially in SEMH.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • To provide tailored support to students who are unable to learn in mainstream settings or may need intervention to reengage with mainstream education.
  • To work closely with teachers and other professionals to develop strategies and planned interventions to support students' academic and social development.

**Requirements:**

  • A strong understanding of SEMH and its impact on learning and behaviour.
  • Experience of working with challenging behaviours and attitudes.
  • Emotional resilience and ability to remain calm under pressure.
