**Supporting Students with Special Needs in Christchurch**
Teaching Personnel is committed to providing high-quality education and support to students with special educational needs. We are seeking an experienced SEN teaching assistant to join our team in Christchurch, working closely with teachers and SEN staff to deliver tailored support.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach to meeting individual student needs. Prior experience working with SEN students, preferably in a teaching assistant or similar support role, is essential.
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans, incorporating insights from multi-disciplinary assessments and progress monitoring.
- Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to design and deliver targeted interventions, promoting academic and social growth.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring timely submission to relevant authorities.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in SEN education, attending training sessions and workshops as needed.
**Salary Range:** £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
