Senior Thoracic Interventionist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Thoracic Interventionist. The successful candidate will have completed their specialist respiratory training and have a strong background in thoracic ultrasound and bronchoscopy.
The role will involve working with our team of specialists to develop and implement new procedures and treatments for patients with lung cancer and pleural disease. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing new procedures and treatments for patients with lung cancer and pleural disease
- Working with our team of specialists to develop and implement new treatments and procedures
- Providing training and education to junior staff members
- Participating in research projects and presenting at conferences

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have:
- MRCP or equivalent
- Trained to Level 1 in thoracic ultrasound
- Independent at bronchoscopy
- Some experience in EBUS and thoracoscopy
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
