Project Support Team Lead

Brandon James is seeking a highly skilled Project Support Team Lead to join their team in Hertfordshire. As a key member of the consultancy, you will oversee a team of project coordinators and administrative staff, providing essential support for the smooth and efficient running of project programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide and inspire a team of project coordinators and support staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery and individual development.
  • Manage and allocate resources across multiple projects, balancing workloads to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage the creation of project documentation, such as meeting minutes, action lists, and procurement records, maintaining high standards of accuracy and consistency.
  • Create and implement procedures to standardize support services, driving efficiency and maintaining flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Set performance benchmarks, conduct regular audits, and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary contact for project support issues, ensuring proactive communication with project managers, internal teams, and external stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with a track record of inspiring and developing teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, adept at prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A keen attention to detail, ensuring high-quality outputs and meticulous record-keeping.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach, adaptable to evolving project requirements and able to handle challenges with ease.
  • 3+ years of experience in a people management role, leading and developing teams (essential).
  • 5+ years of administrative support experience, ideally in a project management environment.
  • Experience in a service-driven environment, with a focus on client or consumer-facing service delivery.
