Job Opportunity: Deputy Autism Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Deputy Autism Manager for a Children’s Residential Home in Shrewsbury.

The successful candidate will have:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Prior experience as Deputy Manager of a Residential Home (preferred)
  • Strong staff management skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good understanding of Ofsted regulations


The salary for this role is approximately £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. This compensation package offers a competitive rate for the position, taking into account factors such as location, industry standards, and qualifications required.

The Deputy Autism Manager will play a vital role in supporting the children residing at the home, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. The ideal candidate should be able to provide guidance, supervision, and support to staff members while adhering to the established policies and procedures. Additionally, they will be responsible for managing daily operations, implementing improvements, and maintaining open communication with the management team and other stakeholders.
