Job Title: Residential Childcare Leader

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and passionate manager to lead and manage a brand-new, 3-bed children's home in Derby.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory standards

* Lead, support, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional care

* Contribute to ongoing staff training and development to foster a high-performing team

Requirements:

* Minimum of 2 years' experience in residential childcare, ideally in a Deputy Manager role

* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)

* Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards it)

* Full clean driving license

* Strong ability to provide consistent, nurturing support to children with complex needs

* Experience with children displaying challenging behaviours

* Flexibility to cover shifts when required
