About the Role

We are seeking experienced social workers to join our dynamic team in Ashford, Kent. As a key member of our Children's Social Work Team (CSWT), you will be responsible for managing complex cases, working closely with children, families, and multi-agency professionals. Your primary goal will be to safeguard and promote the welfare of children while achieving positive outcomes for families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Caseload Management: Handle assessments, reviews, welfare reports, and court attendance.
  • Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with children, families, and professionals.
  • Child Protection: Conduct investigations, create SMART plans, and contribute to safeguarding efforts.
  • Recording & Reporting: Maintain accurate case records and produce high-quality reports.
  • Innovative Practice: Use systemic models like Signs of Safety to inform your approach.

About You

We are looking for dedicated professionals who bring a blend of experience, knowledge, and passion:

  • Degree in Social Work (Dip HE/Degree or Post Grad).
  • Registration with Social Work England (SWE).
  • Relevant practice experience in Children and Families services.
  • Proven ability to deliver systemic practice and interventions.
  • Experience working with Looked After Children, Children in Need, and Child Protection cases.
