Specialist Nurture Support Worker

Folkestone Girls School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Specialist Nurture Support Worker to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in achieving their full potential.
About the RoleThis position involves working closely with students aged 11-18 years who have social, emotional, mental health, and/or behavioural needs. You will be responsible for providing bespoke learning experiences, promoting independence, and contributing to the overall well-being of our students.
Requirements- A strong commitment to the education and support of vulnerable children and young people.
- Experience or passion for working with students with SEN, SEMH, ASD, and ADHD.
- Confidence in managing challenging behaviour and providing a safe and supportive environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of our students.
As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary of £23,338 per annum pro rata, plus an SEN Allowance of £1,441.50 per week, 39 weeks a year (term time only plus 5 staff development days).
In addition, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a highly specialised field, working alongside a talented and dedicated team of professionals.
