About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced chef to work with our care homes in Essex, Suffolk, and London. As a Peripatetic Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality food services to our residents, while also supporting our kitchen teams in delivering excellent culinary experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents, using fresh seasonal ingredients
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and food safety
- Collaborate with kitchen teams to develop menus and improve culinary services
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families
Requirements
- Qualifications in culinary arts or a related field
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of nutrition and food safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
