Peripatetic Chef

We are seeking a skilled Peripatetic Chef to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Peripatetic Chef, you will have the opportunity to work in various care homes across Essex, Suffolk, and London, providing high-quality fresh food to our residents.

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents with a focus on fresh seasonal ingredients
• Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and staff supervision
• Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure seamless service delivery

• Relevant culinary qualifications (NVQs/SVQs or City & Guilds equivalent)
• Up-to-date food hygiene certification
• Experience working with fresh seasonal food and managing kitchen operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
