Your role as an **Autism Education Support Specialist** will be crucial in helping us achieve this goal.

Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience.

This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires a deep understanding of Autism and the ability to provide tailored support to pupils with ASC/ASD and comorbid conditions such as ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, emotional and behavioural difficulties, and mental health needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience of offering support work to pupils with ASC/ASD and comorbid conditions, with a proven track record of making a positive impact on their educational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualised support to pupils with Autism and comorbid conditions to help them access the curriculum and participate fully in school life.
  • Developing and implementing effective behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour and reduce challenging behaviour.
  • Working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that pupils receive a consistent and high-quality educational experience.
  • Collaborating with parents and carers to share information and develop strategies to support pupils at home.
