Allied Health Professional Career Developer

We are looking for an experienced allied health professional to join our team as a Career Developer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our clinical teams, supporting their career development and growth.
The successful candidate will have significant senior experience within community services and previous experience in practice development. They will also have experience of delivering on practice development initiatives and leading change with individuals and teams.
You will be based at the CLCH Academy in Central London, where you will be highly visible and work Trust-wide. You will be encouraged to develop and optimise your clinical expertise, promoting education and learning opportunities for the allied health workforce at CLCH.
Main Responsibilities:
- Working with the Academy team, AHP Lead, Chief AHP, Professional AHPs, and Clinical Leads to identify specific training needs and plan programmes to ensure staff are competent and have the right skills to undertake their roles.
- Working with the Academy team, AHP Clinical Practice & Education Lead, Chief AHP, Lead AHP, clinical teams, Heads of Clinical Services (HOCS), Divisional Director of Nursing and Therapies (DDNTs) as an ambassador for practice development.
- Supporting Professional AHP Leads, DDNTs, and Clinical Leads in planning, implementing, and evaluating practice changes in line with evidence and best practice.
