Academic Opportunity in Speech and Language Therapy

Canterbury Christ Church University's School of Allied and Public Health Professions is dedicated to enhancing public health and well-being through education, research, and collaboration.

The School provides training for professionals in Physiotherapy, Diagnostic Radiography, Medical Ultrasound, Clinical Reporting, Occupational Therapy, Paramedic Science, Speech & Language Therapy, Operating Department Practice, Ophthalmic Dispensing, and Public Health.

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Speech and Language Therapist with experience in Paediatric Communication Disorders and/or Paediatric Dysphagia to contribute to our innovative new MSc programme.

The successful candidate will be passionate about engaging in high-quality learning and teaching, research, and/or knowledge transfer, and will support flexible methods of working wherever possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach on our MSc programme in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Contribute to research and knowledge transfer in Paediatric Communication Disorders and/or Paediatric Dysphagia
  • Support students in their academic and professional development
Requirements
  • Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with extensive experience in Paediatric Communication Disorders and/or Paediatric Dysphagia
  • Passionate about engaging in high-quality learning and teaching, research, and/or knowledge transfer
  • Flexible approach to working and ability to support flexible methods of working
