Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Allied Health Professional Lead at The London Clinic. This role will be responsible for professional oversight and governance of the Allied Health Profession (AHP) at the Clinic.

The post holder will ensure that the division has robust structures, processes, and systems in place to support a workforce that is fit for the future and competent to deliver safe, high-quality services and excellent patient care.

  • This includes leading on workforce transformation programmes for the profession, including Apprenticeships, Preceptorships, Rotations, International Recruitment, Return to Practice, and AHP Support Workforce Development.
  • The post holder will have 15 hours of protected time each month to undertake these duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the professions at senior management level in the care groups.
  • Be the single point of contact for the profession, using professional expertise to support the development of the AHP workforce.
  • Provide profession-specific professional leadership.
  • Interpret and evaluate information from diverse sources to make informed judgments about its quality and appropriateness for professional practice and service delivery.
  • Establish professional boundaries and resolve issues using negotiation skills, influencing, and diplomacy with relevant stakeholders.

About You:

  • Degree in Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Extensive leadership or management experience in AHP.

We are offering up to £60,000 per annum, based on skills and experience, reflecting the value we place on our employees.
