Location: Scarborough (near 401 and Warden Ave)

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Professional to oversee the planning and execution of community programs, events, and activities tailored to the needs of our residents. The successful candidate will have experience working with people who are homeless or under-housed, and demonstrate exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitor current programs, provide support, and evaluate performance on a regular basis.
  • Keep data and statistics on programs, events, and outings.
  • Collaborate with the Manager and Supervisor of Programming to coordinate events, obtain resources, and volunteers.
  • Ensure adherence to Homes First Policy and Procedures, including Harm Reduction Policies.
  • Manage employee performance and perform administrative duties such as timekeeping and performance reviews.
Compensation Package:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $92,500.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent in education and experience.
  • At least 3 years' experience working with people who are homeless or under-housed.
  • Demonstrated experience performing case management functions and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Supervisory experience in a unionized setting is an asset.
  • Knowledge of community resources and services.
  • Certificates in First Aid, CPR, Crisis Prevention, and Intervention are assets.
