Tees, Esk & Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Old Age Psychiatry Specialist Lead to join their team at Cross Lane Hospital. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Old Age Psychiatrist to take on a leadership position and shape the future of our geriatric services.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality clinical services, leading education and training initiatives, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategic management plans, focusing on improving patient care and service delivery.
  • Design and deliver educational programs for healthcare professionals, including junior doctors and medical students.
  • Conduct new referral assessments, therapy sessions, and medication reviews.

Requirements:

  • MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) or equivalent qualification.
  • Hold CCT or CESR at the time of interview or within six months of completion.
  • Inclusion on GMC's Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT or CESR (CP) at interview.

Estimated Salary: £102,617 per annum
