Deputy Manager - Care

Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual looking to make a difference in the lives of others? We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Manager to join our team at Nightingale Nursing & Care Home.

About the Role:

As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents. You will work closely with our Home Manager to achieve our mission of providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care and support to residents
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents
  • Ensure the smooth running of the care home, including managing medication, staff rotas, and resident records
  • Work closely with the Home Manager to achieve our mission and objectives

Requirements:

  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g. Registered Nurse or NVQ minimum level 3)
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a residential or nursing home setting, with at least one year in a dementia care environment
  • Awareness of the principles of Person-Centred Care Planning
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
