Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Care Manager to join our client's team in their residential elderly care home. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing quality care for elderly residents, including those with dementia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care to all residents.
  • Provide leadership and support to the care staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring the needs of elderly residents are met.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and policies, ensuring the facility operates in accordance with best practices.
  • Participate in staff training and development, enhancing the skills and knowledge of care staff.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or above.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a residential care setting.
  • Strong understanding of the needs of elderly residents, including those with dementia.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
