Deputy Care Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Care Manager to join our client's team in their residential elderly care home. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing quality care for elderly residents, including those with dementia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the facility
  • Provide leadership and support to the care staff
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care to all residents
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and policies
  • Participate in staff training and development
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or above
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a residential care setting
  • Strong understanding of the needs of elderly residents, including those with dementia
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
