Programme Management Assistant

We are looking for a skilled Digital Project Support Officer to join our team at Thames Valley Police. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day support to projects within programmes and other projects as directed, including monitoring of project plans to ensure effective delivery and benefits realisation.
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, office hours, with a competitive salary of £53 per hour.
- Your Main Responsibilities:
- Support projects using recognised techniques for data gathering, recording, and analysis.
- Assist Programme & Project Managers in producing and maintaining required project management documents.
- Support the management of project risks and issues, identifying potential issues, risks, and tolerances, and developing contingency plans as required.
- Collaborate with project managers, Local Implementation teams, and stakeholders to ensure regular monitoring takes place.
Requirements:
- Relevant Qualification: Equivalent project/management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2).
- Experience: Proven experience working in a large organisation, particularly in change management processes.
- Skills: Excellent planning and organisational skills, ability to work independently, and attention to detail.
- Risk Analysis: Ability to analyse and assess risk, devising appropriate mitigation/contingency measures.
- Financial Analysis: Understanding, analysing, and generating statistical and financial information in relation to projects and programmes.
