Kidlington, United Kingdom Active Oxfordshire Full time

Job Advert

**Healthy Active Children Programme Coordinator**

This is an exciting opportunity to join Active Oxfordshire to fight inactivity and tackle inequality - as a Healthy Active Children Programme Coordinator.

**The role**:
This role will be managing, coordinating and implementing a number of programmes working in partnership with schools, City and District councils, the County Council and other stakeholders.

No two days will be the same - you will be supporting the delivery of School Games events, delivering workshops on ‘Creating Active Schools’, managing the budget for projects and providing reports for funders.

As well as working with schools to bring them onboard ‘Creating Active Schools’, you will be supporting them in completing the nationally commissioned ‘Active Lives’ surveys.

Working closely with the Children & Young People Manager, you will be responsible for creating an effective monitoring process to really see the effect of our interventions with our schools.

**About you**:
You will need to have experience of managing programmes of work to a timeline and budget, coupled with strong organisational and interpersonal skills to enable you to work effectively with others in partnership.

A strong enthusiasm in our cause is a must, as well as knowledge and interest in how physical activity and sport can change lives.

**What we offer**:
This is a full time, permanent position, but we would consider a minimum of 0.8FTE. You will receive a salary of between £28,000 to £30,000 dependent on experience (pro rata) and benefits including a generous contributory pension scheme, Cycle to Work scheme and 38 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays (pro rata). Hybrid working is available.

**How to apply**:
Please refer to the job pack for further information. Please note a satisfactory basic DBS check will be required for this role.

We will make virtual interviews available where that will support the accessibility of the process.
