Job Title: Product Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced Product Sales Manager to join our team at Graduate Links. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing, with a focus on the chemical industry.

As a Product Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing the sales of specialty chemicals, including resins and additives, into manufacturers across the UK. This will involve building relationships with key customers, identifying new business opportunities, and developing effective sales strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a science degree in chemistry, polymer science, material science, or chemical engineering, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in technical sales or purchasing. You will also need to possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, as well as a good level of IT literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales of specialty chemicals into manufacturers across the UK
  • Build relationships with key customers and identify new business opportunities
  • Develop effective sales strategies to meet targets
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve sales objectives
  • Travel within the UK and occasionally internationally for training and trade shows
