This role requires an experienced Media Studies Teacher to join our team at a secondary school in Cambridge. As a member of our supply pool, you will be responsible for teaching Media Studies to students in a dynamic and supportive environment. This is a great opportunity for a qualified educator who enjoys working with young people and has excellent subject knowledge. You will have the flexibility to choose from a range of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional long-term assignments. Responsibilities:
  • You will plan and teach engaging lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
  • You will assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt your teaching strategies to improve student outcomes.
  • You will maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents/guardians.
  • You will participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and stay up-to-date with curriculum developments.

Requirements:
  • You should hold a valid QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification.
  • You should have recent mainstream school-based experience as a Media Studies teacher in a secondary school setting.
  • You should possess good classroom and behaviour management skills, with the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • You should be able to work effectively as part of a team, communicating regularly with colleagues and other stakeholders.
