We are seeking a skilled and experienced Media Studies teacher to join our secondary school in a full-time supply position. This role offers flexibility, including part-time arrangements, and is set to begin in mid-January.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the Media Studies curriculum.
  • Ensure organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and associated resources, instruments, and equipment.
  • Work effectively with other staff members within the department and throughout the school.
  • Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
  • Comply with the school's policies and implement them reliably.
Requirements
  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
  • Recent mainstream school-based experience as a Media Studies teacher in a secondary school setting.
  • Good level of classroom and behaviour management.
  • A relevant Media Studies-related degree is desirable.
