Business Development Representative

Sphera Solutions, a global leader in environmental health and safety technology, is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our fast-growing sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, as well as following up on marketing inquiries to set appointments for our global salesforce. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team that values hard work and camaraderie.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities through outbound calling and engagement.
- Focus on outbound campaigns and business development activities, including calls, emails, and social media outreach.
- Utilize consultative sales methodologies to analyze prospect businesses and address their changing automation needs.
- Develop and manage a follow-up cadence to nurture potential leads.
- Participate in interactive training sessions to stay up-to-date on Sphera solutions, sales, and industry trends.
- Consistently achieve and/or exceed daily activity and sales targets.
Requirements:
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial sales environment.
- Experience working with clients/customers in a sales-oriented environment, with a focus on solution-based selling.
- Dynamic personality with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Adaptability and ability to think on your feet, with a strong work ethic and commitment to success.
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing, or equivalent work experience.
- 1+ year of sales experience, with a successful track record in solution-based selling environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools, such as Salesforce.com.
- Fluency in German and English.
