Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Glazing/Glass Machine Operator to join our team in Waikato. The role involves operating a range of glass production machinery, inspecting quality, and making necessary changes to machine parameters.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a guaranteed 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operating a range of glass production machinery
  • Inspecting the quality and making necessary changes to machine parameters
  • Programming glass machines and using manual equipment when necessary
  • Accurate measuring and marking glass using precision instruments and supplied templates
  • Cutting glass according to specifications using water jet/CNC and I-CAM software
  • Installing glass to frames
  • Operation of suction lifter

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years relevant work experience in a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent technical skills
