About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PMO Analyst to join our team at Capita Regulated Services. As a Senior PMO Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the required level of PMO governance and control is applied to the Account you are assigned to in alignment with Capita's best practice framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the PMO Manager in maintaining a forecast of supply and demand across the Account/Portfolios, including Project and Work Order requests.
  • Process project finances at project and Work Order Level, analyzing variances against forecast v actuals and ensuring financial cover is maintained.
  • Manage Work Order processes, including ensuring accurate estimates of required costs, timescales, deliverables, and assumptions are produced by the relevant business area.
  • Produce weekly status reports for management meetings and MI and reporting packs for executive board management meetings to facilitate fact-based decision making.
  • Own the Quality Assurance of all Work Order products for your Account and ensure rigour is applied in meeting the client's requirements.
  • Proactively embed best practice PMO service, system, processes, tools, and templates into assigned programmes and accounts.
  • Work as part of the PMO team to deliver high-level customer services to stakeholders by providing support, challenge, and skills development.
  • Provide cover for the PMO Manager for day-to-day PMO management activities as required.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to PMO Analysts.

Requirements

  • Excellent previous experience in a Senior PMO Analyst role, ideally within the Financial Services sector.
  • Demonstrable stakeholder management skills, as well as a strong and clear communicator, with excellent people skills.
  • Proven resource management skills, as well as strong experience in governance, project cycles, and business processes improvement.
  • Previous experience of using Power BI, Power Queries, and MS Excel.
