About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PMO Business Analyst to join our team at Capita Regulated Services. As a key member of our PMO team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective governance and control of our projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • PMO Governance: Support the PMO Manager in ensuring the required level of PMO governance and control is applied to the Account you are assigned to, in alignment with Capita's best practice framework.
  • Forecasting and Capacity Planning: Maintain a forecast of supply and demand across the Account/Portfolios, including Project and Work Order requests, and support capacity planning of delivery teams and 3rd Parties.
  • Financial Management: Process project finances at project and Work Order Level, analyze variances against forecast vs actuals, and ensure financial cover is maintained.
  • Work Order Management: Manage Work Order processes, including ensuring accurate estimates of required costs, timescales, deliverables, and assumptions are produced by the relevant business area.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Ongoing management and monitoring of Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies (RAID) and lessons learned logs for your allocated Account via regular engagement.
  • Reporting and MI: Produce weekly status reports for management meetings and MI and reporting packs for executive board management meetings to facilitate fact-based decision making.
  • Quality Assurance: Own the Quality Assurance of all Work Order products for your Account and ensure rigour is applied in meeting the client's requirements.
  • Best Practice Embedment: Proactively embed best practice PMO service, system, processes, tools, and templates into assigned programs and accounts.
  • Customer Service: Work as part of the PMO team to deliver high-level customer services to stakeholders by providing support, challenge, and skills development.
  • PMO Manager Support: Provide cover for the PMO Manager for day-to-day PMO management activities as required.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and provide guidance to PMO Analysts.
Requirements
  • Senior PMO Experience: Excellent previous experience in a Senior PMO Analyst role, ideally within the Financial Services sector.
  • Self-Starter: As this is a senior role in the team, we require an individual who is a real 'self-starter', who can take control of their own workloads, and take complete ownership of their processes and services.
  • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrable stakeholder management skills, as well as a strong and clear communicator, with excellent people skills.
  • Resource Management: Proven resource management skills, as well as strong experience in governance, project cycles, and business processes improvement.
  • Technical Skills: Previous experience of using Power BI, Power Queries, and MS Excel.
