Job Title: L2 Production Support Specialist

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Belfast, Ireland (Onsite)

We are seeking a highly skilled L2 Production Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing technical support for various Unix/Windows, client server and web-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acknowledge issues reported by business within defined and agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Proactive monitoring measures to identify any issue in the system and report to the development team for permanent fix.
  • Application monitoring and reporting to business users or internal audit team based on their requirement.
  • Suggest automation of recurring issues and manual tasks resulting in overall service improvement.
  • Drive strategic focus areas like automation and transformation, manual task reduction, improve resiliency of application.
  • Participate in disaster recovery tests/drill as per the schedule.

Requirements:

  • Hands on experience in UNIX and SQL.
  • Knowledge in technologies such as Java, Microsoft, Oracle.
  • Knowledge of scheduling tools such as Autosys, Ab Initio control center.
  • Production support exposure, able to troubleshoot issues and user support with minimum guidance.
  • Debugging and scenario level fix for issues in banking functions domain.
  • Common ITIL lifecycle knowledge, incident/service/change management.
  • Good communication skills and analytical abilities.
