HSBC is seeking a skilled Benefits Specialist to join our Performance & Reward team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of benefit design and policy, ensuring we remain an employer of choice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support benefit policy design and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies.
  • Assess the effectiveness of benefit policies and processes, recommending new approaches and solutions.
  • Lead operational change delivery and risk management, enhancing the user experience across our platforms and benefits.
  • Provide expert guidance on benefit policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Review and interpret employee survey results and market benchmarking, summarizing key trends for stakeholders.
  • Support the design and implementation of our P&R benefits agenda, focusing on time off, company cars, lifestyle benefits, and flexible working.

Requirements:

  • Deep benefits domain experience, with a track record of contributing to strategic benefit policy development and end-to-end delivery.
  • Skilled project and stakeholder management, with excellent communication skills and the ability to produce well-written business cases.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Agile mindset, data literate, with the ability to support a broad benefits portfolio with an action-oriented approach.
  • Experience delivering benefits and pensions in a large, global matrixed organization.
  • Ideal understanding of pensions and/or Merger and Acquisitions (M&A) from a benefits perspective.
