About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and Benefits Manager to join our team at Hawksmoor - UK & Ireland. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient delivery of payroll for approximately 1000 people across the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing all records for fortnightly and monthly payrolls, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Managing benefits administration, including benefit-in-kind tax-related queries
  • Providing support and guidance to employees and managers on payroll and benefit administration-related queries
  • Overseeing joiners and leavers processes, ensuring a smooth transition for restaurant teams
  • Maintaining pension, healthcare, life assurance membership details
  • Creating, maintaining, and updating payroll processes to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Managing processes for maternity, paternity, and sick leave and pay
  • Managing audit processes within the payroll and benefits department
  • Maintaining and managing relationships with HR systems, driving improvements and ensuring system updates and developments are communicated effectively
  • Supporting with end-of-year finance activities, such as PSA and P11Ds
  • Providing data and insight for the annual Pay Gap reporting
  • Overseeing the annual pay review process
  • Taking a lead on People Team KPI reporting
  • Supporting Finance with ad-hoc requirements and requests for information and reports
