About the Role

As a Child Welfare Coordinator with TimePlan Education, you will be responsible for leading our safeguarding efforts in Southwark. You will work closely with staff to identify and manage child protection issues, providing expert advice and training. Your collaboration with external agencies will be crucial in ensuring the best outcomes for our clients' pupils.

Our ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of statutory safeguarding frameworks and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building strong relationships with pupils, families, and staff. A commitment to fostering a culture of safety and inclusivity is vital for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for safeguarding concerns, ensuring all policies and procedures are rigorously implemented.
  • Support staff in identifying and managing child protection issues, providing expert advice and training.
  • Work collaboratively with external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
  • Maintain meticulous records and ensure compliance with statutory safeguarding requirements.
