About the Job:

This Pastoral Manager role is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students in a SEN school setting. As a key member of the school's pastoral team, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive environment, where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Student Programs: Design and implement programs to promote student wellbeing, engagement, and academic success.
  • Support Student Needs: Provide personalized support to students facing personal, social, or emotional challenges.
  • Behavior Management: Manage and oversee student behavior and attendance concerns, promoting positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to ensure effective student support.
  • Monitor Progress: Accurately record and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a SEN setting.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications and experience in a pastoral or student support role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
