Cloud Security Engineer Python

This is a hybrid role within the Cloud Security Team at Darktrace Ltd, with the expectation of working a minimum of 2 days a week in our Cambridge office. As a Senior Python Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to rapid prototyping of new ideas, improving existing products and platforms, and investigating unique methodologies in defending against unknown cyber-attacks. Your solution-focused mindset combined with analytical approach and problem-solving skills will enable you to lead features from conception to deployment. You will also prioritize work that fits into wider team progress while solving immediate challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Able to program using Python and show an understanding of writing code in a production environment.
- Capable of leading features from conception to deployment.
- Successful prioritizing how work fits into wider team progress while solving immediate challenges.
- Comfortable working autonomously and making independent decisions, as well as working cooperatively within a team.
- Knowledge or interest in cyber-security / malware forensics.
- Experienced with statistical analysis of static or dynamic systems.
- Familiar with Docker.
- Knowledgeable about cloud computing environments.
