Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team at Darktrace. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying and scaling our global cloud applications. This role requires expertise in container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Terraform.

About the Role:
As a Platform Infrastructure Specialist, you will collaborate closely with development teams to ensure that infrastructure meets their requirements while teaching scalable application practices. You will also be responsible for using your expertise in container orchestration tools to deploy applications seamlessly, prioritizing reliability, observability, and performance.

What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including 23 days holiday + all public holidays, additional day off for birthday, private medical insurance, life insurance, pension – 4% employer contribution, enhanced family leave, confidential employee support, and cycle to work scheme.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have essential skills in scripting or application development, be comfortable writing proficiently in Python, and be familiar with infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform and CloudFormation. A strong grasp of basic networking and security principles is crucial, as is the ability to methodically solve problems and analyze patterns in behavior and logs. Experience with continuous integration systems such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Jenkins is beneficial, along with proficiency in working with source control and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
