Welcome to the role of Python Engineer in Cybersecurity at Darktrace As a key member of our cloud security team, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions to improve our services and offerings. Your expertise will focus on integrating with cloud providers and technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes to find out what assets clients have deployed in their cloud, how these are connected, and which are vulnerable to attack.

In this role, you will contribute to rapid prototyping of new ideas, improve the performance and competencies of existing products, and investigate our unique methodology in defending against unknown cyber-attacks.

You will work closely with our team to develop and implement effective security measures to protect our clients' cloud environments. This is a hybrid role, requiring you to work a minimum of 2 days a week in our Cambridge office.

We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, 23 days' holiday + all public holidays, rising to 25 days after 2 years of service, additional day off for your birthday, private medical insurance, life insurance of 4 times your base salary, salary sacrifice pension scheme, enhanced family leave, and cycle to work scheme.

Requirements include comfort working autonomously and independently, as well as being able to work cooperatively within a team. Experience with statistical analysis of static or dynamic systems, Docker, and knowledge about cloud computing environments is necessary. Additionally, programming skills using Python and the ability to write code in a production environment are essential.
