Physiotherapist - Community Paediatric Service

We are a dynamic and integrated Community Paediatric Physiotherapy Team based at Callaghan House in Heywood. Our team provides a musculoskeletal service in clinics, as well as visiting children with developmental delay or disabilities in their homes, nurseries, and schools. We work closely with other children's teams to form the Children's Integrated Community Health Services.
This role will provide physiotherapy assessment and management of children with musculoskeletal conditions, children presenting with developmental delay, complex neurological conditions, and genetic conditions.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to educate and train other healthcare professionals, parents, and carers, as well as assess, manage, and treat children with musculoskeletal conditions, developmental delay, and neuro-disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- To provide physiotherapy assessment and management of children with musculoskeletal conditions, developmental delay, complex neurological conditions, and genetic conditions.
- To educate and train other healthcare professionals, parents, and carers.
- To assess, manage, and treat children with musculoskeletal conditions, developmental delay, and neuro-disabilities.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration
- Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy
- Evidence of relevant postgraduate training
- Considerable experience across a broad range of neurological conditions at Band 5, including paediatrics
- Community experience
- Audit experience
