About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Pennine Care Learning Disability Care Hub as a Principal Clinical Psychologist.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multi-agency team, collaborating with clinical psychologists, community learning disability nurses, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, and other multidisciplinary mental health practitioners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate service development and engagement by supporting service delivery, training, research, audit, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with other Clinical Psychologists to develop and deliver psychological pathways.
  • Provide clinical supervision to psychologists, psychological therapists, or other core health professions.
  • Develop and deliver training on clinical interventions.
  • Manage demand for psychological services and support other professionals in their provision of direct psychosocial work.

Requirements
  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology.
  • Current registration as a clinical psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Experience of clinical leadership within a previous role.
  • Demonstrable experience of providing clinical supervision, teaching, and training.
  • Knowledge of national and regional legislation, guidance, and policy directives in relation to psychological therapies with people with a Learning Disability.
