Role Overview:
The Risk & Assurance Coordinator is integral to the development and execution of the audit and assurance framework, reporting directly to the Quality and Audit Manager (QAM) within the Risk and Assurance team (RA Team). This position is crucial for monitoring and reporting compliance with CBRE, customer, and legislative standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the QAM in maintaining the annual audit schedule by gathering updates from internal and external teams and reporting on progress.
- Support internal teams in preparation for audit visits, ensuring necessary preparations are completed and escalating issues to senior management as needed.
- Monitor and assist in the resolution of internal and external audit findings.
- Participate in and, when necessary, lead internal and client meetings, ensuring accurate documentation of notes and actions.
- Analyze audit finding trends and report to the QAM to facilitate continuous improvement across the account.
- Ensure compliance with policies and strategies through reviews and audits.
- Track and monitor Business Disruption events, acting as a backup for the Risk and Assurance Specialist.
- Identify opportunities to enhance data management capabilities for improved accuracy.
- Support Risk Register analysis and monitoring activities.
- Produce detailed management reports and analyses to outline performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Engage with key stakeholders to understand business risks and develop insights.
- Communicate updates and news from the Risk and Assurance team effectively.
- Promote Risk & Assurance initiatives and campaigns.
- Coordinate training support for CBRE and client teams, particularly in Fire and Building incident control.
- Assist with the training matrix as required.
- Serve as a point of contact for the Risk and Assurance team.
- Collaborate with the wider Risk & Assurance Team to meet regulatory and account requirements.
- Support the Risk Director and management team with administrative tasks.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Understanding of risk management principles and controls.
- Strong stakeholder management abilities.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution.
- Practical auditing experience is desirable.
- Familiarity with MS SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, and MS Forms is a plus.
- Knowledge of ISO Management Standards is advantageous.
- Project management experience is a plus.
