Job Profile for Freight Business Development Specialist
Bennett and Game Recruitment are working with a global freight forwarder on a growth path in European freight markets. They require a proven Freight Business Development Specialist to join their London branch and contribute to the company's growth.
Our client has a strong brand image and reputation, with European connections to support the freight process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain business relationships, both in the office and on the road.
- Generate new business leads and sell services for UK to International freight, focusing on Groupage, Part-load, and Inter-modal freight markets.
- Maintain relationships with established accounts and maximize their spend through dedicated account management and high-end customer service.
Requirements:
- Proven knowledge of selling European Road & Sea Freight.
- Understanding of Turkish freight markets is desirable.
- Knowledge of Groupage, Part-load, and Inter-modal freight routes.
Benefits:
- £50-60k base salary.
- Company car or allowance.
- 20 days + bank holiday.
- Additional benefits: Healthcare, pension.
