Business Development Manager Position Overview

We are working with a global freight forwarder who is on a fantastic growth path in the European freight markets. They require a proven Freight Business Development Manager to join their London branch and add to the company's already impressive growth.

Our client has been established for over 30 years, growing from strength to strength. They have an outstanding brand image and reputation to back up your sales techniques with fantastic European connections to support the freight process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business leads and sell services of UK to International freight with a core focus in Groupage, Part-load, Inter-modal freight markets (knowledge of Turkish markets is advantageous).
  • Maintain relationships with established accounts and look to maximise their spend through dedicated account management and high-end customer service (Key Account Management).

Requirements:

  • Proven knowledge selling European Road & Sea Freight.
  • Understanding of Turkish freight markets (desirable).
  • Understanding of Groupage, Part-load and Inter-modal freight routes.

Benefits:

  • £50-60k base salary.
  • Company car OR allowance.
  • 20 days + bank holiday.
