About the Job: We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Support Worker to join our team in the college's LLDD department. In this role, you will work closely with students aged 16-24 who have complex needs, requiring tailored support to achieve their goals. Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support to students with PMLD, MLD, physical difficulties, and autism, ensuring they receive the care and attention needed to enhance their communication and independence.

This is a full-time role for four days a week, ideal for candidates with experience in SEN or a care background. Personal care, including toileting, may be required for some students, so a caring and empathetic approach is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional and practical support to students with complex needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • Collaborate with SLTs and other specialists to ensure a holistic approach to student care.
  • Support students with personal care tasks, including toileting and hygiene, as needed.

Salary and Benefits: This role offers a competitive pay rate of £85-£110 per day.
