Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in mental health nursing and a strong background in advanced clinical practice. They will be responsible for providing highly specialized, person-centered care to patients with complex physical and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide highly specialized, person-centered care to patients with complex physical and mental health needs
  • To work autonomously and make complex clinical decisions, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient
  • To develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, incorporating pharmacological considerations and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • To lead by example and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team
  • To work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes

Requirements

  • A Registered Health Practitioner with membership of a relevant professional body
  • An MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent route to Advanced Clinical Practice
  • Clear and demonstrable evidence of advanced, autonomous practice in the management of patients/service users
  • Learning and Assessing in Practice Qualification or equivalent practice assessor's training/recognition of teaching abilities
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development through an advanced clinical practice portfolio demonstrating advanced level practice across the four pillars of clinical practice, education, leadership, and research

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, the successful candidate will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including annual leave, pension scheme, and access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
