About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled ACP to lead the same day emergency care clinic, collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.

The ideal candidate will hold an accredited MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or have completed the e-portfolio route with digital badge, evidencing proficiency in the care of Older People, and be willing to complete our local competency booklet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level clinical expertise in the SDEC clinic, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver compassionate and patient-centred care.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring timely interventions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to research and critical appraisal of evidence-based practice, informing best practices within the OPS specialty.
  • Maintain accurate records, adhering to professional standards and regulations, including active UK NMC Registration.
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with:

  • Demonstrable theoretical and practical knowledge of OPS specialty common presentations.
  • Participation in research and experience of critical appraisal of the evidence base.
  • Active UK NMC Registration.
