Job Title: Band 6 Surgical Specialist Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Surgical Specialist Dietitian to join our team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide a dietetic service for lung, breast, and neurological cancers, working alongside a multi-disciplinary team to support patients throughout their cancer journey.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a dietetic service that aligns with national priorities outlined by the NHS Long Term Plan and NHS Cancer Programme.
  • Provide dietetic support to patients receiving treatment by the oncology and haematology teams.
  • Be responsible for haematology and oncology patients receiving oral, enteral, and parenteral nutrition support on the Guys Hospital site.
  • Provide dietetic input into Multidisciplinary outpatient Clinics.
  • Take the lead in providing expert Dietetic input into agreed medical and surgical areas for both inpatients and outpatients.
Requirements:
  • Current HCPC registration.
  • Broad post-registration experience within Clinical Dietetics.
  • Working as part of a team.
Desirable:
  • Experience in specialist area - oncology.
